Aspiring Employees
Peake Marine employees are hand-selected and trained to the highest standards, and their compensation reflects this. Peake Marine takes pride in cultivating talent within the workforce. Employees are asked to take a personality test before being hired at Peake Marine, and though the results do not have to be shared with the company, we feel that this information is important for one to know and will be beneficial to the applicant, even if not hired by Peake.
Entry-level applicants who become employed by Peake Marine are required to meet benchmarks along their journey toward becoming a seasoned boat lift technician. Employees learning the trade will be reviewed quarterly and appropriately compensated for meeting each one of these benchmarks. This light scaffolding approach is geared to help employees know where they stand in the scheme of things and what they must do to succeed through positive reinforcement.
It is hard to find other companies that support their employees as we do here at Peake Marine. The ideology is clear: safety is the number one priority here. Service to our customers is also high on that list, but also high is support for health and respect for the ones who sweat, lose sleep, and give all they have to serve Peake Marine. Peake Marine shares profits with its employees.
After years of service and dedication, employees may be offered the chance to buy into the company and become vested interest holders in Peake Marine. Employees who are invested in the company care more about the company and are rewarded for that care.
